Ed Gilbert is a lover of handcrafted and highly imaginative work. His inspiration lies in the choreography of materials, in what he feels and the experiences he lives.
He was born in Leicestershire (England) and graduated from the Royal College of Art in London. He has worked in the United States on very disparate projects, including a bird cage for the Houston Zoo, and in India, where he decorated a hotel in Udaipur.
In Spain, above all in Malaga, he has designed very different works such as the Villa Padierna Hotel (Marbella). The building´s image displays this interior designer´s personal hallmark.
