POLISHED AND BUSH-HAMMERED AMARILLO TRIANA
Located in the present-day Port of Triana (Seville-Spain), this building was constructed for the Universal Exhibition wich was held in the city in 1992.
This large, round tower, 150m high and covering a total area of 30,000m², changed the skyline of the Andalusian capital city. For the exterior, a Ventilated Façade was used, which was considered a very innovative feature at that time. This was covered in Amarillo Triana, with a bush-hammered and polished finish.
Nowadays, the building is used as the ministry for Tourism, Commerce and Sport by the Andalusian Regional Government.
