This is one of the most historical pedestrian streets in Palma de Mallorca (Mallorca-Spain) and is the main route to the city's great gothic cathedral.
In 2006 this walkway was redesigned in collaboration with the building contractor Llul Sastre. For the paving, large slabs of bush-hammered Sierra Elvira (in a grey colour) were chosen and were combined with rhomboid-shaped pieces of Basalt (black paving stones) that were 5 cm thick. Both materials are characterised by their fine composition and durability, in addition to their non-slip finish, which is perfect for an area with a great deal of pedestrian traffic.
The architect for this project is the local Team from the Town Hall of Palma de Mallorca.
