Guillermo Reynes
Architect

Guillermo Reynés´s passion for architecture runs in the family. His grandfather, Guillermo Reynés Font, worked with the illustrious Catalan architect Antonio Gaudí.

He earned a degree in architecture from the University of Barcelona in 1970. For years, in addition to having his own studio, he gave classes, seminars and talks at the Universities of Pamplona and Barcelona. In 1973, he was named curator architect for the Palma de Majorca Cathedral, where he oversaw restoration work.

Over his long career of more than 30 years, he has designed innumerable tourist and residential complexes for the most prestigious hotel chains and property companies, including Nova Santa Ponsa and Gran Folies, in the Balearic Islands. He has also carried out unique projects such as the restoration of Marivent Palace (Palma de Majorca), official residence of the King and Queen of Spain in that city, and the private palace of the Saudi royal family in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
