Ángel Asenjo
Architect
Ángel Asenjo is known as the doyen of Malaga architects, a title which is backed up by a long list of works and projects. He was born in Malaga (Spain), and 1971 graduated from the Technical School for Advanced Architectural Studies in Madrid, where he worked with various architects. In 1975, he returned to his home town and set up his own studio.
His curriculum vitae is filled with a wide variety of projects, including Pinares de Mijas Residential Estate, La Rosaleda Shopping Centre, Malaga Plaza Shopping Centre, the expansion of the University of Malaga campus, the Ciudad del Conocimiento (City of Knowledge), and more, including the Malaga Conference Centre, his crowning work. He is currently absorbed in one of TINO´s major projects: construction of the Stone Technological Innovation Park in Loja (Granada).
