TINO Stone placed 111.000 square meters stone in the expansion of Malaga airport

Madrid, 15 de marzo de 2010.- TINO Stone Group, Spanish multinational specialized in the production and distribution of natural stone textures, has placed 111.000 square meters stone in the expansion of Malaga airport, which opens this week with the presence of H.M. King Juan Carlos I. TINO installation has been commissioned by AENA (Spanish Airports and Air Navigation) to the joint venture formed by Ferrovial and Construcciones Sando.

A stone surface equivalent to 16 football fields
For this large civil works, the largest currently in Andalusia, TINO get Ferrovial y Construcciones Sando an order to supply, in a record time of 8 months, a total of 111.000m2 natural stone tiles in large 100x100cm square and 4cm thickness.
